With clothes, deco and flowers and invites set we decided to have candles a giveaways as this was the “in” thing at this time. Pia Bernardo Derla who is our candle sponsor at the same time and one of Oliver’s oldest friends – as in they grew up together – volunteered to cover the cost and to actually make the candles since she’s into it being one of her many businesses for the moment. Wow, we never felt so lucky! We just have the candles for the primary and secondary sponsors to worry about. Mom helped me make these and we’re off. Below is a picture of Pia's candles (in a glass) and the bigger ones that went to our sponsors.

I like the idea of the sunflower, being a sun follower and our giveaway are candles which sort of mean "light" in darkness. I just want everyone's day to be bright as well as our future as a couple together.
Dad even helped me make a map of the venue as a lot of my husband's "partidos" (family and friends from his side) are all from Quezon City.
Below is a map to Our Lady of the Airways which I made in the computer and handwritten additions are made by Dad.
